What is the True Spiritual Meaning of Christmas
Author: Greg Tharpe
The negative energy surrounding the earth infiltrated the minds of the people causing egotism, greed, selfishness, dis-eases and illnesses of all kinds. The High Priest, Pharisees and Sadducees had taken away the peoples power by enslaving their minds with their laws and their religions that were misrepresenting God and Truth.
“She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.” [Matthew 1:21]
People were mentally enslaved by the powers to be of the system; they were spiritually powerless and ignorant of the Truth. The laws were designed to take power away from the people without them being aware. These laws or religion were in the best interest of the Rulers, but not of the people.
God, with all of his grace and mercy, realized that because the people could not physically see him they did not know or trust him. Therefore, their faith or spiritual understanding was weak. They were under the government of man’s laws which caused them to violate the universal laws of God.
God knew that man’s beliefs were defeating the purpose of life; therefore, he knew he had to appear on earth in the form of a man so the people could actually see his spirit working in and through people for their faith to increase. Furthermore, God knew he had to be baptized and die to show people that they had to be cleansed of their worldly mindset and rise up in a new spiritual mindset.
Therefore, over 2000 years ago, Jesus was born to become the savior of mankind by spreading the gospel about the power of the Kingdom God in each and every human being. Through the teachings and healing’s of Jesus, mankind would see an example of the power and work of God and renew mankind’s mind which would give him the faith to defeat or overthrow his personal spiritual enemy or sins.
However, the birth of Jesus has taken on a different meaning in this day and age. Many people are celebrating Christmas without knowing or believing the true spiritual meaning. They have been led to believe that Christmas or the celebration of the birth of Christ is for shopping, gifts, Santa Claus, decorations and parades.
The true meaning of Christmas is not associated with Santa Claus and gifts. This was the doings of the powers to be who controlled the economic system and saw the opportunity to use the birth of Christ for profit. They turned what is the greatest day in the history of the world into the greatest and biggest shopping time of the year. The world has misconstrued the true meaning of Christmas in the name of money and materialism.
Christmas represents the birth of the coming of a spiritual truth that bridges the gap between man and God to save the world from the detrimental effects of human beliefs that are based on spiritual ignorance. In spiritual perspective, the birth of Jesus is about truth and enlightenment; the day that God came into the world in the form of Jesus to show his spiritual love, grace, mercy, power, wisdom and ability.
The true meaning of the birth of Jesus and the celebration of Christmas is lost in the third dimension perception of the world. The people still do not understand or have faith in the Kingdom of God within them. Therefore, the world still has not experienced the “salvation” or “peace on earth” or “joy to the world” that the Lord or Truth has come to bring in the new fourth dimension reality.
Christmas is the celebration of the birth of the human representation of God for the purpose of bringing joy to the world by leading people out of lower frequency (third dimension) faith or fear and darkness into the higher frequencies (fourth dimension) or light. Each of us can easily make this shift in a heartbeat…if you are willing to the change your perception.
Have a Merry Christmas!
