Navigating a Troubled World
Is the world becoming a more dangerous, racist and evil place to live? Violent people and weather are seemingly becoming more destructive in the world. It seems as if almost every day, week, month and year, death and despair is happening more often. The truth is that violence and natural disasters have always been happening, but with the advancement of technology, cell phone video and social media it is being recorded and viewed more.
“For in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his sacred tent and set me high upon a rock.” [Psalm 27:5]
Is it possible to be safe in this world? It is understandable that many people think that the right to bear arms is the solution to safety. But, what good will arms do you when you are in the midst of an earthquake or hurricane or when someone is randomly shooting and killing and you have no chance to defend yourself. It is the right to bear arms and automatic weapons of mass destruction that causes sick people to take the lives of innocent victims. Read more…
